15-year-old Josh Fonseca releases Falling as his debut single.
Josh Fonseca is just getting started, but what a start it is with the powerful Pop track Falling, which was recorded with acclaimed SA muso, Mark Belling.
Merely 15 years old and unlike most young artists, who start at an incredibly young age, Josh only started showing an interest in singing at the age of 12. By 13 he was invited to sing in the Lydenberg Town hall as an opening act for Afrikaans singer, Ricky Faber. Josh, currently a student at Northcliff High school in Grade 9, spent 2017 at the Drakensberg Boys Choir school with whom he toured to Japan, performing in front of packed music halls in places like Nagasaki, Kagoshima, Hokkaido, Yokohama and Toyota. Josh currently attends Enzo’s music school and is trained and tutored by a local artist, Christian Heath, who also co-wrote ‘Falling’ with him.
The inspiration for Falling is taken from being in a space or place you don’t want to be in. That negative experience deterring you from what you love, but once out of the space or place, taking a breath and finding your passion again.
